June Bryant is a born and raised Floridian and grew up on a cattle ranch in Myakka City, Florida. She realized that she wanted to become a nurse after her brother had to be hospitalized while she was in high school for a serious illness. She started her career as a certified nursing assistant and continued that role until she became a registered nurse in a local pediatric emergency room. She continued to feel a calling to provide advanced care for patients, so she advanced her career to a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, graduating from University of South Florida in 2012 with her Masters of Science in Nursing, then again with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2016. She is passionate about the care she gives to her patients, and treats every patient as they are her own children. She also enjoys her role as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at the University of Tampa. She lives locally with her fiancé, and their 6 children (blended), 4 dogs and 2 cats. When she isn’t serving the community, she is challenging her family to escape rooms, out boating and crafting.
